Most people wait until the battle starts before they prepare. God tells us to prepare before the battle ever arrives.
Every morning you make a decision about what you're going to wear. Spiritually, that decision is even more important. Before you face the pressures, temptations, disappointments, or unexpected challenges of the day, ask yourself: What am I putting on today?
Fear? Anxiety? Bitterness? Insecurity?
Or faith, peace, truth, and the character of Christ?
Victory isn't determined when the fight begins. Victory begins when you intentionally put on the full armor of God. The enemy isn't intimidated by someone who simply attends church; he's threatened by a believer who is spiritually prepared.
The Belt of Truth reminds us that everything in our spiritual life is held together by God's Word. Feelings will change. Culture will change. Opinions will change. But God's truth never changes. When your life is anchored in His truth, you won't be shaken by every circumstance or every lie the enemy whispers.
So before you walk out the door tomorrow morning, don't just get physically dressed—get spiritually dressed. Read the Word. Believe the Word. Speak the Word. Live the Word.
Because if you stay ready, you don't have to get ready.
Today, choose to wear what prepares you for victory.
