What You Thinking?

Think Higher

Trish M Quote- "a renewed mind leads to a transformed life. What are you thinking? #ThinkHigher".

Whatever you think on the longest becomes the strongest in your life. You can seriously evaluate your mental state by simply analyzing what you have been thinking about the last few days, the last few weeks, or even the last few hours.

Have you been worried, concerned, heavy in the spirit, anxious, excited, happy, frustrated, joyous, etc.? Think about it. Where have your thoughts been taking you here lately? Are you excited about where you're at? Are you thankful? Do you have a sense of peace? Why or why not?

The Bible tells us that we become what we think. You think about something or someone that made you mad long enough, then you will become angry. If you think about frustrations long enough, then you become frustrated. If you think about sex long enough, you will find a way to have sex. It's simple. You become what you think.

Here are few ways I want to give you to renew your mind so that your thoughts can go in the right direction:

🔹 1. Saturate Your Mind with God’s Word

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..." — Romans 12:2

Renewal starts by feeding your mind daily with the Word of God.

Scripture reprograms your thought patterns from worldly thinking to Kingdom thinking.

🔹 2. Take Every Thought Captive

“We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 10:5

Identify and reject negative, fearful, or ungodly thoughts. Filter every idea through the truth of God’s Word. Replace lies with truth.

🔹 3. Set Your Mind on Things Above

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” — Colossians 3:2

Focus on eternal things—God’s promises, your purpose, and your spiritual growth. Don’t dwell on temporary struggles.

🔹 4. Think on What is True and Worthy

“Whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely… think about such things.” — Philippians 4:8

Be intentional about where your mental energy goes. Think in alignment with the character of God and the fruit of the Spirit.
